This dinner table is designed by J.P.Meulendijks design studio and it’s made out of BAMBOO that is why it has some great qualities like sustainability. Its frame is build up from layers of flexible bamboo which are pressed together. The bamboo’s natural bending curve gives its shape and a timeless design. The layers of bamboo curve through each other and entwine, locking each other in place creating this amazing dinner table. The result is simply stunning, a mix of nature and mathematics, a super strong dynamic shape that looks different from anything else, that’s what makes it so special.

When we think about luxurious homes we think of soaring prices and an “infinity” of rooms, but when it comes to luxury anything is possible, and you can easily spend $ 21.8 million for a one bedroom apartment. In Tokyo, in the exclusive district of Minami-Azabu: is “The House”, an apartment with only one bedroom is known to be the most expensive in the world. The apartment has more rooms, but only one bedroom which is the jewellery of this home. Even if it is just an apartment with one bedroom is actually as good as a palace.
Prestigious properties usually are villas with five, six, seven bedrooms and three bathrooms. As a rule, these are houses with huge gardens, swimming pools, tennis courts and libraries, even the “classic” apartments have a long list of rooms including bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms. Read more ›

Simplicity was the thing that got my attention towards this house in Norway. The straight lines of the house gives you the feeling of freedom and the need for vacation. Located on the south coast of Norway, this house has a view over the amazing archipelago and the owner wanted to maximize the view with help from the architecture of the house. Therefore, he turnedto Arkiteketer Filter Oslo studio. Besides the desire above, he also wanted intimacy and protection.
The project began as a renovation of a house which in 1940 was destroyed by water, rust and other things. The main materials are stone (exterior), a lot of wood, and rustic finishes and the colours used are neutral to match the Norwegian style. The rooms are strictly functional, without any enhancements or decorations. However, they look stunning and seem to be the perfect place for a good sleep. Read more ›

A modern house, designed by Giovanni Speri using natural materials, where the relationship between interior and exterior is considered an important one.     This house is structured in a way that meets all functional necessities as well as the estetic ones.
