Simplicity was the thing that got my attention towards this house in Norway. The straight lines of the house gives you the feeling of freedom and the need for vacation. Located on the south coast of Norway, this house has a view over the amazing archipelago and the owner wanted to maximize the view with help from the architecture of the house. The project began as a renovation of a house which in 1940 was destroyed by water, rust and other things. The main materials are stone (exterior), a lot of wood, and rustic finishes and the colours used are neutral to match the Norwegian style.
