Having dealt mostly with small-scale projects, when the architects Lenka Kremenová and David Maštálka found themselves having to design an apartment of 220 square meters they decided to go above and beyond.
In order to make this loft in Prague unique, the architects Lenka Kremenová and David Maštálka have replaced corners with curved walls to create a sense of fluidity. Apart from three bedrooms and a study, the apartment has one large central space, which starts from the entrance, where can be found the wardrobe, and continues with the living room and kitchen which has a large dining table. Guest rooms can be found upstairs. The choice of smooth edges amplified the freedom of movement and reduced the boundaries. The stairs come with a fireplace and library, gently curving upwards.
