Having dealt mostly with small-scale projects, when the architects Lenka Kremenová and David Maštálka found themselves having to design an apartment of 220 square meters they decided to go above and beyond.
In order to make this loft in Prague unique, the architects Lenka Kremenová and David Maštálka have replaced corners with curved walls to create a sense of fluidity. Apart from three bedrooms and a study, the apartment has one large central space, which starts from the entrance, where can be found the wardrobe, and continues with the living room and kitchen which has a large dining table. Guest rooms can be found upstairs. The choice of smooth edges amplified the freedom of movement and reduced the boundaries. The stairs come with a fireplace and library, gently curving upwards. The Dune House

dune house 11 The Dune HouseThe Dune House is the perfect holiday home according to the Jarmund / Vigsnæs Architects Studio and isn’t called the Dune House for no reason, is located on the beach and dozing between soft and enveloping sand dunes. The aim of this arhitecture was: rethinking it outside the city and propose a new way of tourism.
THE VIEW. The house is located in Suffolk, just south of the village of Thorpeness. This location was chosen because it was designed as a house with large windows from which you could enjoy the landscape. The roof, which is the strongest part of the project, is coated with a metal alloy slightly orange that reflects the sky and sea changes in colour.
“We wanted to create something that would fit well into the context, but also be different.” said the architect Hankon Vigsnaes. “We started with the roof, typically English, and rework it until we got it more complex and contemporary. On one hand, the building wants to look like those typical along the coast, on the other we wanted to stand out strongly.” Read more ›

When we think about luxurious homes we think of soaring prices and an “infinity” of rooms, but when it comes to luxury anything is possible, and you can easily spend $ 21.8 million for a one bedroom apartment. In Tokyo, in the exclusive district of Minami-Azabu: is “The House”, an apartment with only one bedroom is known to be the most expensive in the world. The apartment has more rooms, but only one bedroom which is the jewellery of this home. Even if it is just an apartment with one bedroom is actually as good as a palace.
Prestigious properties usually are villas with five, six, seven bedrooms and three bathrooms. As a rule, these are houses with huge gardens, swimming pools, tennis courts and libraries, even the “classic” apartments have a long list of rooms including bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms. Read more ›

A real challenge, one that Fabrizio Rondolino, journalist, novelist, gave to Peter Strzebniok and the architectural design company, Nottoscale S. Francisco, when he chose the Nevada desert as a site for his holiday residence.
Was built near Scotty’s Junction, not far from Death Valley, on a land scorched by the sun but with a breathtaking view and away from any infrastructure. The love for the desert and the desire to enjoy the surrounding landscape has been the basic requirement of the entire project. Hence, the choice of a lightweight structure with large French windows that open into the Wild and create a fusion between interior and exterior. Read more ›
